Young people are leaving Facebook! The sky is falling!
Not quite. Yes, Instagram and Snapchat are becoming more popular with the 18-24 crowd but Facebook is still dominant for demographics that matter to most health marketers.
Recently Facebook saw losses in the 12-17 age group (from eMarketer data, I think -Ed.):
- 4% in 2017
- 1.2% in 2016
