Klick Recognized as a Best Managed Company for 10th Consecutive Year

Company continues Best Managed Platinum Club status with year marked by high-profile innovation announcements

TORONTO, ON – March 8, 2018 – Klick Inc. was today named a 2018 Best Managed Company for the 10th consecutive year, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in business performance. The company was also included in the prestigious Best Managed Companies’ Platinum Club for the fourth year in a row for its longstanding exceptional management practices.

Klick CEO Leerom Segal said, “As a fearlessly independent company, we are thrilled to have been recognized as a Best Managed Company for the last decade. We have an amazing team, committed to ensuring we nurture and grow our Klickster community while delivering exceptional client experience and new innovative offerings.”

Now in its 25th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies for innovative, world-class business practices. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the caliber of their management abilities and practices.

“Best Managed Platinum winners have exceptional insights and knowledge into business management practices. They are an inspiration and really take their game to a new level,” said Lorrie King, Partner, Deloitte and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program.

“Companies that earn Platinum Club status, exemplify exceptional vision and leadership and a sustained commitment to growth and innovation,” added Dino Medves, Senior Vice President and Head, CIBC Commercial Banking.

As part of Klick’s mandate to foster leadership and development, the company introduced its new KlickU people management curriculum and hosted its Step it Up Leadership Offsite featuring workshops with New York Times bestselling leadership author and former U.S. Marine Angie Moran. In 2017, Klick also organized a series of leadership pipeline trips to Kenya with WE Charity to build schools, including a women’s college.

Focused on the future, Klick companies have also made a number of recent innovation announcements, including:

  • Klick Health’s Klick Labs and Boston Children’s Hospital last week unveiled their HealthVoyager™ medical education and patient experience platform—a proof of concept that uses Virtual Reality to bring patients’ individual medical findings to life and which, according to Fast Company “…creates a personalized, explorable 3D model of a kid’s own body that makes it much easier for them to understand what’s going on inside.”
  • Klick Labs also introduced the SymPulse™ Tele-Empathy Device, a first-of-its-kind proof of concept, which transmits tremors from patients to physicians and caregivers to help foster clinical empathy and better care for people living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. The device has been profiled in media outlets around the world, including the CBC, CNBC, Globe and Mail, and New York Times, and The Royal College of Physicians’ Future Healthcare Journal.
  • Sensei Labs, Klick’s collaborative work management company, launched Conductor, the first enterprise project management solution to orchestrate large, complex projects with ease.
  • Sensei Labs was named global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney’s Enterprise Collaborative Work Management Partner and was listed on the Constellation ShortList for work coordination platforms.

Earlier this week, Klick was named a Best Workplace for Women for the third year in a row, and began celebrating International Women’s Day early with speed mentoring, keynote speakers, philanthropy initiatives, alongside other events planned all week.
