At the centre of connecting those dots is effective and compelling digital marketing, education and communication.

Improving Care

Increasing administrative and regulatory burdens can result in a loss of professional satisfaction for physicians and are root contributors to physician “burnout”. The American Medical Association (AMA) sought our help to change this with the launch of STEPS Forward™, a series of interactive, online educational modules that aims to help physicians reduce common frustrations in providing excellent medical care and encourage a thriving practice.

Full Digital Strategy

Our digital strategy included a tablet-first design, integrated adult e-learning principles, a detailed measurement plan and beta testing of the site with more than 2000 physicians. Users can choose one of three learning options: online, live events, or downloading a module while earning continuing medical education (CME) credits. The built-in feedback form also encourages physician engagement and facilitates curating content for future modules. There are currently 16 modules, with more coming soon.

Real Results

Based on user feedback and data analysis we are incredibly proud of the websites results:

  • 33% bounce rate (well below industry standards)
  • 86% of users who completed a module are likely to implement STEPS Forward™ strategies, directly supporting the core goal of the initiative
  • 98% will access more modules
  • The average module rating is 4/5
