DCL, a company specializing in data conversion and content management, surveyed healthcare content publishers and found out what issues they have. The companies included in the survey were:


The concerns that these companies had are all based on regulatory issues at 46% with others including time to market and version control:


The infographic also shows who is creating the content (dedicated writers) and what types of content are important (labeling, marketing, and medical communications).

Interestingly, while regulatory is the number one concern, it is not the number one cost, that title goes to the handling of multiple channels with rapid response coming in second.


While this infographic covers all of healthcare, it is relevant to pharmaceutical marketers and seems to reflect the issues we see in client organizations.
