How do users find informational websites? The top source isn’t surprising: search engines (mainly Google). The second source might come as a bit of a shock: Facebook.
The top results were:
- 36% Search engine
- 25% Facebook
- 23% Ads on TV
- 21% TV shows or news
- 16% Emails from companies or brands
The interesting finding here for healthcare marketers is that Facebook is so high in the rankings. It may be time to look at the world’s largest social network as a channel.
In related news, only 15% of Americans say they are not part of a social network, and 75% of Americans say they are on Facebook.
