I am passionate about creating great digital user experiences. While I am very proud of the award-winning work I’ve delivered for some of the world’s largest retail brands for over 15 years, I am very excited to be working in the health space. For me, empowering patients to become more educated and more in control of their personal well-being is very exciting work.
Why are you passionate about health and wellness?
I’m excited to be working in health and wellness because of its universal importance. Whether you’re taking small steps to live a longer and healthier life or you’re facing a serious medical condition, everyone has an interest in improving their overall health. I am thrilled to be a part of an organization that believes in creating simple yet powerful tools and campaigns that will educate, empower, and ultimately extend lives.
What excites you about technology and its role in healthcare?
I believe technology will continue to play a pivotal role in how we think of personal health in the future. I am particularly interested in how technology will forge stronger bonds between health care professionals and their patients. Technologies such as smart phones, tablets, and ubiquitous connectivity are just the beginning. In the same way smart meters in your home have largely replaced yearly inspections, connected tools will become the foundation of your relationship with your health care professional. I’m very proud to be a part of building a vision and executing on how those tools will work.
What are your passions outside of work?
Outside of my job I am also very passionate about technology. I am a new father and it amazes me to think that my child won’t ever know a world without being connected to the grid. I also enjoy music, reading, drawing, watching sports, and spending time with my family.
