
Dean Kamen at TEDMED 2011

We’ll have more complete coverage of TEDMED 2011 just as soon as our poor brains catch back up to reality, but in the meantime we wanted to share a quick video of Dean Kamen nearly-live from the stage (this literally JUST happened). He was up talking about his DARPA Luke arm and their frustrations in getting the FDA to approve it as a Type 1 device, and so he shared his YO-YO proposal (You’re On Your Own) for a new type of label:
